Kids On a Mission

Kids on a Mission is a monthly gathering where children in grades K-8 come together for a joyful, hands-on experience to connect, serve, and grow. They discover that kindness is something we practice, not just talk about.

  • Each month, children in grades K-8 take part in a meaningful service project. Our gatherings also include dinner, music, and time for reflection, creating a warm and welcoming space for learning, connection, and shared purpose.

  • Our mission is to help children and youth understand that they can make a difference — right now. Through service, creativity, and compassion, young people learn empathy, responsibility, and the joy that comes from caring for others.

  • This month, children are making stuffed animals for Norwalk hospital pediatric emergency care patients

  • Kids on a Mission meets once a month, from October through May (inclusive).

The gathering takes place on the 3rd Friday of each month, from 4:30–6:00 PM.

    Please note:

In February, the gathering will take place on February 27.

  • All families with children in grades K-8 are welcome.

Teens are welcome to take a leadership role.

Friends, relatives, and newcomers are always welcome.

No special preparation is needed — just be ready to serve, connect, and grow together.
