Kids On a Mission
Kids on a Mission is a monthly gathering where children and teens come together to learn what it means to live out faith through action. This is a joyful, hands-on experience where families connect, serve, and grow — discovering that kindness is something we practice, not just talk about.
-
Each month, children and teens take part in a meaningful service project that benefits our local community. Our gatherings also include dinner, music, and time for reflection, creating a warm and welcoming space for learning, connection, and shared purpose.
-
Our mission is to help children and teens understand that they can make a difference — right now. Through service, creativity, and compassion, young people learn empathy, responsibility, and the joy that comes from caring for others.
-
This months, children are making lap blankets for seniors living in local care facilities. These handmade blankets offer warmth, comfort, and a reminder that they are remembered and valued.
-
Kids on a Mission meets once a month, from February through May (inclusive).
The gathering takes place on the last Friday of each month, from 4:30–6:00 PM.
Please note:
In February, the gathering will take place on February 27.
