Words of Welcome from Pastor Eric Fjeldal
On behalf of the New Canaan UMC community, I welcome you to our website.

We are a growing community of faith who are constantly seeking new ways to express our faith in God and Christ as we live in our various communities and the larger world. We invite you to join us in this journey.

I also invite you to join us for worship on Sundays. Our 10 a.m. service offers congregational singing, prayer, special music by one of our choirs, a children’s message and sermon. Sunday school for children age three through high school and child care are offered.

Become an "MBA" this spring -
A Midweek Bible Adventurer!

This past fall, the UMC of NC proudly introduced a new afterschool program for preschoolers through second graders. The first several sessions have been an overwhelming success and the next exciting session is just around the corner.

On Wednesdays from 3:45-5pm, children engage in a bible story, music, crafts, games and a snack.

The cost per session is $10 per family.

Come join us! Make some bible buddies and have a great time!

Noisy Collection
The Sunday School wishes to thank everyone who participated in the Noisy Collection. We raised $325 in the two collection. It's still not too late to donate!

SPECIAL EVENTS

Parents Potluck Dinner
On Saturday, May 25th, leave the kids at home and join hosts Laura and Roy Turner for the Parents Potluck Dinner. Whip up a plate to share and enjoy some adult fellowship.
Memorial Day Service
We will be worshipping with Memorial Day Weekend at the Congregational Church. Worship is on Sunday, May 26, at 10 a.m. Pastor Eric will be preaching.
Confirmation Sunday
June 2nd is Confirmation Sunday. We will receive six new members that morning. Please make every effort to be in attendance.

UMW Breakfast
Join us for the monthly women's BYOB (buy your own breakfast) at Le Pain Quotidien. All women of the church are invited to attend at 9:30 a.m. Please sign up for the June 5th meeting on the bulletin board in the Narthex.

MISSION UPDATE

Midnight Run

Save the date! The next Midnight Run will take place on Tuesday, May 28. Any youth wishing to attend should speak to Pastor Eric. Clothing sort begins at 5 p.m. Donations are especially needed for this run. Gift cards are available. Please see Nicole Kenaga. We are in need of men's lightweight clothing and shoes. Blankets are always appreciated. For more details, contact Donna James or the church office.
