Words of Welcome from Pastor Eric Fjeldal
Pastor Eric FjeldalOn behalf of the New Canaan UMC community I welcome you to our website.

We are a growing community of faith who are constantly seeking new ways to express our faith in God and Christ as we live in our various communities and the larger world. We invite you to join us in this journey.

I also invite you to join us for worship on Sundays. Our 10:00 am service offers congregational singing, prayer, special music by one of our choirs, a children’s message and sermon. Sunday school for children age 3 through high school and child care are offered.

SPECIAL EVENTS

New Study Group
Beginning on May 2nd, there will be a new Wednesday night study group!

Studying author and Pastor James C. Howell's book, The Beatitudes for Today, the group will feature an engaging exploration of the Beatitudes for all, regardless of your biblical knowledge. In addition to exploring the subject's meaning in the past, this study will emphasize their value in the present by applying Jesus' teachings to our contemporary world and to today's Christian lives.

If you are interested in joining this group, or for more information, call the Church office.

Memorial Day Service
This year we will be worshipping with other area Churches on Sunday, May 27th. Service at the Presbyterian Church will begin at 10 a.m. A community picnic will follow the service.

Confirmation Sunday
