 On behalf of the New Canaan UMC community I welcome you to our website. We are a growing community of faith who are constantly seeking new ways to express our faith in God and Christ as we live in our various communities and the larger world. We invite you to join us in this journey. I also invite you to join us for worship on Sundays. Our 10:00 am service offers congregational singing, prayer, special music by one of our choirs, a children’s message and sermon. Sunday school for children age 3 through high school and child care are offered.

A new study on our United Methodist Social Principles begins next Wednesday, Jan. 11th at both 10:00am and 7:30pm. For more information, contact the Church Office.
Silent Auction
Our Silent Auction begins on Sunday, Jan. 22nd and will be adding new items every week, so it’s not too late to use your imagination and contribute something. The variety is what makes the auction interesting and fun. Homemade treats like desserts, soups and sauces are sure winners. Ski and vacation houses set the upper limit. The bidding will continue every Sunday through Feb. 5th, and will conclude that day as we all enjoy our Souper Bowl luncheon, with delicious homemade soups provided by the skilled chefs of our congregation.
Men's Sunday Breakfast
Every first Sunday of the month, the men enjoy a yummy breakfast at 8:45am prior to the 10:00am worship service. Come enjoy good fellowship with other members of the church. Next breakfast will be Feb. 5th.
UMW Sunday Brunch
Dave the date! The United Methodist Women will be hosting their annual Winter brunch on March 5th following the Sunday service. Contact Lauren Hunt at the church office to help participate.
MISSION HIGHLIGHTSMidnight Run
Save the date! The next Midnight Run will take place on Mar. 27th. Any youth wishing to attend should speak to Pastor Eric. Clothing sort begins at 5:30pm. Donations are especially needed for this run. Gift Cards are available. Please see Nicole Kenaga. We are in need of men's fall/winter clothing, shoes and blankets are always appreciated. For more details, contact Donna James or the church office.
Heifer Happenings
 Heifer International is a non-profit organization whose goal is to help end world hunger and poverty through self-reliance & sustainability. As is our tradition, the Sunday School children have chosen many animals to help families in need.
